Garden Route, Cape Town and Karoo 11 days
This multi-day getaway is a there and back again trip from Grahamstown to Cape Town, stopping off at some stunning sights along the way, including the Garden Route, Oudtshoorn, and Stellenbosch. We return via the Karoo, offering a view of some of South Africa’s most breathtaking sceneries.
There is an insane amount to see and do including the Cango caves, a visit to the infamous Robbin Island, a tour to the Cape of Good Hope, hiking up Table Mountain, and the best nightlife the Mother City has to offer. Accommodation, breakfast, and dinner are all included.
Day 1: We depart from Grahamstown at 9am, pick ups can be arranged from Port Alfred, Port Elizabeth, and the surrounding areas. The first night is spent in the mystical Tsitsikamma forest. Surrounded by calming indigenous forest, a walk through the woods is a must before the next action packed day.
Extra stuff to do: The world’s HIGHEST BUNGEE JUMP!!!, Horse riding, Quad biking and Zip lining
Day 2: We depart from Tsitsikamma and travel towards Cape Town. Stopping in the beach towns of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, we end our day in the Klein Karoo town of Oudtshoorn

Day 3: The morning is spent sight seeing in historic Oudtshoorn and visiting the Cango Caves to check out the world famous Khoisan cave paintings. Before heading over the spectacular Swartberg pass to continue the journey towards Cape Town.
Extra stuff to do: Ostrich farm, handle a cheetah and dive with crocodiles
Day 4: A longer day in the vehicle as we drive through some of the most beautiful scenery to be seen in South Africa.
Day 5/6/7/8/9: We depart for the student town of Stellenbosch and head through the Cape Wine Region and into Cape Town! The four days are spent visiting Robbin Island, Cape of Good Hope, walking up Table Mountain and a day to see all the sites in Cape Town city centre. We’ll be sleeping in the heart of Cape Town’s busy nightlife, so there’s no dirth of places to party.

Day 10 A long days drive on the awe-inspiring Karoo roads to Graaff Reinet, one of the oldest towns in South Africa.
Day 11 After a visit to the Valley of Desolation, a spectacular valley of weathered dolerite pillars, we head back towards Grahamstown and sleep safely in our own beds.
